The product is based on independent soil moisture-satellite data from VanderSat, and will provide sorely needed cover for one of the greatest climate-related risks for agriculture in Croatia. The introduction of this product was a joint effort by Genillard &amp; Co, Croatia Osiguranje, VanderSat and reinsured by Swiss Reinsurance. After the need for this specific type of cover was identified, Genillard &amp; Co supported the development and introduction of the product with advice and advanced analytics of national damage and weather (SPI) data.
