 2022 Climate Insurance Solutions for Agricultural Risks (CISAR) 
Symposium which will be held on the 8th<\/sup> and 9th <\/sup>of March 2022 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following the continuing challenges associated with COVID-19 resulting in the limitations to non-essential travel, many countries and organizations have put in place further containment strategies including travel restrictions. For this reason, Genillard & Co. have come to the decision to hold the CISAR 2022 symposium as a FULLY VIRTUAL event. Although this is in many ways a disappointment, we remain focused on building on last year\u2019s successful event by delivering a rich, interactive and stimulating programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We continue to innovate in our quest to develop leading insurance solutions for climate risks. As well as exploring the value propositions surrounding digital tools for agricultural data monitoring and their potential application for index insurance products, we will be discussing and debating how implementing climate research results and agricultural statistics into an ever more compelling climate risk information service, actively benefits governments, the farming community, and insurers by helping to close the agriculture insurance gap.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The foremost objective of CISAR 2022 will be to support the sustainable development of risk management measures in agriculture by bringing together representatives of the public sector, risk and insurance specialists, technology experts as well as the agricultural community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
