We would like to warmly thank all CISAR 2022 Delegates, Sponsors and Partners for their participation, contributions and kind feedback regarding this year’s virtual event on the 8th & 9th March 2022.

We had two insightful, thought-provoking days.

Our key goal was to make available the risk modelling work of climate risk scientists focusing on agriculture, for stakeholders involved in agro insurance, integrating this into the development of a climate change driven risk management agenda. The G&Co team were extremely pleased to hear the rich and engaged discussions during the different aspects of the programme.

At G&Co, we continue to innovate in our quest to develop leading insurance solutions for climate risks. As well as exploring the value propositions surrounding digital tools for agricultural data monitoring and their potential application for index insurance products, we discussed and debated how implementing climate research results and agricultural statistics into an ever more compelling climate risk information service, actively benefits governments, the farming community, and insurers by helping to close the agriculture insurance gap.
