Genillard & Co formally invites you to our
2022 Climate Insurance Solutions for Agricultural Risks (CISAR)
Symposium which will be held on the 8th and 9th of March 2022 at Weihenstephan Technical University of Munich (TUM) Campus near Munich
After the success of the first CISAR symposium back in March 2019, and with the very positive reception of the virtual, fully interactive CISAR symposium of 2021, we continue to innovate in our quest to develop leading insurance solutions for climate risks. As well as exploring the value propositions surrounding digital tools for agricultural data monitoring and their potential application for index insurance products, we will be discussing and debating how implementing climate research results and agricultural statistics into an ever more compelling climate risk information service, actively benefits governments, the farming community, and insurers by helping to close the agriculture insurance gap.
The foremost objective of CISAR 2022 will be to support the sustainable development of risk management measures in agriculture by bringing together representatives of the public sector, risk and insurance specialists, technology experts as well as the agricultural community.
On this occasion, we plan to hold a hybrid event combining both physical and virtual attendance options. For the physical attendees, CISAR 2022 will be enhanced with networking opportunities and there will be display stands to browse at the venue. We will provide refreshments on both days, and we plan to hold an informal networking event on the first evening.
Please find full details in the accompanying programme.
