After nearly three years of fruitful collaboration within a strong project consortium and productive exchanges with numerous stakeholders, the DIRECTED project is now coming to an end.
We extend our special thanks to everyone involved in disaster risk management—particularly regarding pluvial and fluvial flooding—who shared their valuable expertise with the project consortium. This continuous dialogue and the diverse perspectives provided were instrumental in further developing the project outcomes and ensuring they are practically oriented.
To mark the project’s conclusion, we are pleased to present the final Data Fabric for the Vienna Real World Lab during a concluding online workshop on September 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The session will focus on the functionalities developed specifically for Vienna. Additionally, we will provide an overview of key features from the other Real World Labs to convey a comprehensive and realistic impression of the concept developed during the project and its wide range of potential applications.
We will also present the results of our survey on flood risk distribution in Austria and outline how the Data Fabric can continue to be used and developed beyond the project’s end.
